Pillow Talk with Chad James
Where do you find inspiration for your work?
Inspiration is found in the everyday for me, but I'd say nature and traveling are the biggest sources of inspiration for my work.
What’s your preference…Percale or Sateen?
Percale, because I prefer a crisp sheet over silky. It reminds me of the sheets I had as a child.
What’s your go-to cocktail (or beverage)?
For mornings chocolate milk, evening a gin and tonic
What’s your favorite Peacock Alley product and why?
My favorite Peacock Alley products are their customizable pieces, but I love their percale sheets
We spend 1/3 of our lives in bed. What makes you love yours?
I love my bed mostly because it's in my home. I travel so much for work going from hotel to hotel that coming home and sleeping in my own bed is a huge comfort for me.
What’s your dream travel destination?
Venturing to Fiji with a stop in Australia
If you could choose one person to have a “Pillow Talk” with, who would it be?
My dear friend Tiffany Fallon, and she knows why
What’s the first thing you do when you get out of bed in the morning? Or Do you follow the golden rule of making your bed every morning?
I do follow the golden rule! I believe starting your day with a freshly made bed sets you up for mental success and helps you to easily relax when going to bed at night. Happy Bed, Happy Home.
Who would you invite to your dream slumber party?
Beyonce, Oprah, Tina Turner, and of course Dolly.
